Trek Mania Nepal is a government-registered trekking agency in Nepal dedicated to providing excellent services to our clients. For trips and expeditions in Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan, we are the one-stop solution. We provide exclusive services that are related to a successful trip operation such as the transportation management, hotel bookings, flight ticketing, trekking gears arrangement (on request), etc. Your comfort and satisfaction is our first priority.

Read over each of our terms and conditions prior to booking any trip with us.

Pre-booking Information

Here are few things that you need to know before entering into the booking section:

  1. First, inquire about the trip, you wish to go, such as the time of the year favorable for the trek. Postponing the date may incur extra charges.
  2. Read the cost includes and excludes of the trip you are going. If there is any confusion then, email us or call us directly.
  3. Then, go to the booking section.

Here are the Trek Mania policies regarding bookings:

Documents required for booking

  1. A copy of your passport.

Non-refundable cost

20% non-refundable deposit of the total cost of the trip is obligatory for booking.

Remaining amount can be paid upon arrival in Nepal or before setting off for the trip. This policy is applicable for the trips around Nepal only.

For Bhutan and Tibet tours: the remaining amount must be paid before 30 days of departure. If the client fails to submit the amount as per the policy, the company holds the right to cancel the trip.

 Note: Intermediary banking charges must be borne by the clients themselves. These charges are not counted on the total cost of the trip.

 Note: Additional charges incurred during credit transfer are not subject to the total cost of the trip. Currently, 3.5% charge is levied for Credit Card Processing fee.

Last Minute Booking

We accept the last minute bookings for the trips in Nepal only. You may book the trip at least 3 days before the departure date.Booking Confirmation
Only after the documents are received and the amount is verified, you will receive the confirmation invoice.If the transactions are done through Swift / Wire transfer (Bank), the booking confirmation takes some time.

Postponing information

For postponing the trip date, following conditions would apply:

  1. A valid postpone notice (by the client) must be sent before 30 days of trip departure.
  2. A minimum of USD 100 would be charged as a management cost. Rest of the amount will be transferred to your next trip. If the client fails to send the postpone notice before 30 days of trip departure then, the charges depend upon the trip.

Cancellation information :The cancellation policies are different for different countries.

Nepal Trip cancellation

  1. A valid written notice (by the client) must be sent before 15 days of trip departure.
  2. 20% booking charge (of the total cost of the trip) is non-refundable. Rest of the amount (if any) will be transferred to your account.

Bhutan Trip Cancellation

  1. A valid written notice (by the client) must be sent before 30 days of trip departure.
  2. 20% of the total cost of the trip is non-refundable. Rest of the amount (if any) will be transferred to your account.

Tibet Trip Cancellation

  1. A valid written notice (by the client) must be sent before 30 days of trip departure.
  2. 50% of the total cost of the trip is levied as a cancellation charge. Rest of the amount (if any) will be transferred to your account.

Incomplete treks or tours : If you couldn’t complete the trip by any reason (in any case), the company is not responsible for any refunds.

Risks of trip delays or cancellation

Our trips and management system are strictly abided by the rules and regulations of the Tourism Boards of Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan. Therefore, we are not responsible for the trip delays or cancellations due to any unforeseen changes in the rules of these departments, political situation of the respective country, government restrictions, sudden weather changes, catastrophic events (landslides, floods, earthquakes, etc.), road blockage, flight delays or cancellations, vehicle breakdown, etc.

The additional expenses caused by these unprecedented obstructions are not borne by the company. Therefore, have enough financial backup before moving on your trip, although such cases are once in a thousand.

Natural Disasters :  If your trip is canceled due to the unexpected natural events, the company will arrange another trip for you for the same value of money. Your money is safe with us.
But, in case the disaster occurs in the middle of the trip then, the company will not bear any refunds.

Flight delays and cancellations :  Flight delays and cancellations are normal in mountainous region such as Everest and Dolpo regions due to bad weather conditions. In that case, we are not liable for the additional expenses.

How to be on the safe side?

With this information, you will at least minimize the risks of spoiling the whole adventure.

Important Notice :All of the above terms and conditions apply only if you book the trip directly with us. Otherwise, the conditions don’t apply.
