To reach Rara Lake from Kathmandu via Lumbini, travelers must pass through Surkhet, Kalikot, and Sinja Valley before heading north. The journey involves navigating through rugged mountainous terrain and often traversing unpaved roads, making it advisable to use a sturdy jeep or 4WD vehicle. Depending on the road conditions and weather, the travel time can range from several hours to a full day.

Day to Day Itinerary

We will take a tourist bus or private vehicle from Kathmandu to Lumbini on the first day of this trip. You will be assigned to your respective accommodation there and if we have some time to spare then we can also go sightseeing.

Traveling from Kalikot to Rara Lake by jeep is an adventurous journey through the remote and scenic regions of western Nepal. Rara Lake, located in Rara National Park, is known for its stunning beauty and pristine surroundings.
From Kalikot, you'll typically head northwest towards Sinja Valley and then continue north towards Rara Lake.

This day we will be exploring Rara fully. Here we can do many activities like boating, or take a padded boat et,c. Not only that you can also enjoy horse rides around the lake area and soak up all the beautiful views that Rara has to offer.

After we finish breakfast, we'll begin our journey back to Kalikot from Rara. After arriving, we will check into a hotel and rest for the night.

Our Journey will begin after we finish our breakfast and take a vehicle that will take us back to Surkhet, where we will spend the rest of our day at a hotel.

We have now finally reached Kathmandu which marks the end of our trip. We will now be dropping you off to your respective accommodation or to the International Airport
