The Bheri River in western Nepal provides a unique activity that perfectly blends the thrill of whitewater rafting with the peacefulness of fishing. The river, which flows through secluded and calm areas, provides a serene backdrop for those looking for both aquatic and recreational pleasures. The rafting portion has a variety of rapids, ranging from Class II to Class IV, making it accessible and fun for both novices and advanced rafters. Meanwhile, the Bheri River is well-known for its fishing chances, especially the difficulty of catching the rare Golden Mahseer. Scenic campsites enhance the experience by offering moments of relaxation and friendship. Bheri River rafting and fishing offer a unique combination of thrill and tranquillity, appealing to a wide variety of adventure seekers.
Following our morning meal, our employee will pick you up and transport you to Kathmandu Airport for our domestic trip to Nepalgunj. From there, we will arrange a bus or a vehicle to Samjhighat, where we will spend the night.
After our morning meal, we will meet with our guide and team, who will go over basic safety precautions and instructions. We are now ready to begin our tour and spend entire days rafting through the stunning scenery and hard rapids of the Bheri River. Paddle down to the lovely camping location at Kumalgaun and spend the night there.
We will resume our rafting excursion after our morning lunch and proceed downstream, experiencing new portions of the Bheri River. We will stop and rest once we get to our campground in Jamu. Jamu is also a popular fishing destination, so following our short lunch session, we will visit fishing sites famed for a variety of fish species and if you are interested then we will fish for a while.
Today is the last day of our rafting trip. After breakfast, we will continue our rafting excursion downstream, admiring the natural beauty and fauna along the riverbanks. Our rafting trip will come to an end after we get to the campsite and rest for the day in Chisapani.
Finally, the day has arrived for our return to Kathmandu. So we'll book a bus or a vehicle back to Nepalganj Airport and fly back to Kathmandu, bringing this adventure to a close.
